Sneakerpedia


Calling all sneakerheads! The world’s biggest digital sneaker Archive has landed. Sneakerpedia showcases unique styles, never seen before treasures and the largest independent collections by some of the world’s most ardent sneaker fans, Sneakerpedia, powered by Foot Locker has been created by sneakerheads for sneakerheads. A simple, easy to use search engine means sneaker contributors, fans and visitors to the site can look up limited edition sneakers as well as the collections from some of the biggest celebrities such as that of famous collectors Bobbito Garcia and DJ Clark Kent.

You can get your code from February 2011 and get uploading.

KICKMAS

If you don’t fancy the slightly time consuming, and tad childish task of googling images of your favourite rappers and kicks (see above post), printing them out, cutting them out, sticking them to cardboard and stapling thread to them, then fear not, there is a solution.  To celebrate the countdown to Christmas Adidas have come up with a printable version of the Adidas Superstar trainer that you can cut out to create your own Kicking Superstar Christmas ornament. Wear

Streetwear for women is an eternal disappointment to me. It’s either overly blinged-out, in the vein of tasteless Hip-Hop-Honeyz or badly designed and ill-fitting. In fact, it’s got to the point recently where any Tom, Dick or Harriet would slap a slogan on a tee and want a piece of the pie. There were a few labels I used to check for but even they’ve fallen off now meaning I was increasingly reaching for the men’s labels to find what I wanted. Admittedly, these days, I’m probably more cul de sac than street and I don’t wear the tees and sweats as much as I used but that said, when I do, I still like something that’s got good design as well as cut. A while back I discovered a clothing label out of Belgium called ‘Girls From Omsk‘ and I’m coveting their entire A/W 2010 collection, check out their LOVER unisex hoodie, you won’t be disappointed.
