Hello all, it’s “picks of the week” time and as one month ends and a new one begins, March finishes and April is about to kick off with a bang.

It is mother’s day this Sunday and if you’re looking for somewhere to take your mum why don’t you treat her to some fine dining and look no further than the Chop House. Situated at Butlers wharf and with a great view of Tower Bridge the Chop House is the ideal place to spoil your Mother this Sunday. Serving the best in British cuisine, the Chop House are offering 3 courses for only £27 which includes Chop House fishcake, Maldon smoked salmon, Aberdeen Angus beef, Traditional fish & chips and a range of steaks from their charcoal grill. An extra incentive that the Chop House is offering is a complimentary glass on champagne on arrival.

The Chop House is open from 12pm on Sundays and booking in advance is highly recommended.

BMW commissioned seven Shorts to showcase the new Z3 when it dropped a few years back. Each one is shot by a different, well known director and stars a few celebs you may recognise. This one is shot by Tony Scott (Ridley’s son) based on a well known legend about Blues musician Robert Johnson and stars Clive Owen, Gary Oldman and a subtitled James Brown! Enjoy.

When someone hurts you…

Let them have the whole force of your anger, then and there or walk away..

Please understand. I honestly believe in the saying: “If you don’t hear you must feel”

I will gladly take off any ones head for taking the piss with me, family, loved ones, or my castle.

In some circumstance though, you are not always able to carry out your reaction, your hurt, or just say out loud what you thought about a situation or persons actions.

It’s annoying I know but there is not the time to be suborn and hold on to such things.

When I say ‘there’ I mean months or years later. Leave it in the past.

Walking around with hate and hurt in your chest isn’t productive and it’s like, glitter…

It gets on everything and everywhere…

Sometimes, it can be a great motivator, it really can but let’s be real. The arch enemies of Batman, Spiderman and the like, have you all gassed. You are not gonna show up 10 years later with some diabolical plan reveal it and take out your revenge..

Not many have that kinda backbone and grit.. That’s not a disrespect. It’s just true.

Let it go I promise you that Karma sees and hears everything.

You can’t make one move in this universe without you effecting you.

Don’t let it eat away at you. It’s not what your here for, also this is life, I’m sure what so and so did has been done a million times before, and I’m certain a million times before so and so and what’s his name got what was coming to them with out any effort on the victim’s part.

Hey peeps, what’s new? It’s that time again for my “picks of the week”.  I hope you all had a great week last week, especially on St Patrick’s Day. This week has the potential to be another cracking week. There is a lot to do and a lot more fun to be had. First port of call this week is Cantaloupe restaurant, a restaurant/bar in the heart of Shoreditch with a massive reputation. Whether you’re after an intimate meal, or a sneaky pint, Cantaloupe is definitely worth checking out. Their food menu is seasonal and changes on a monthly basis but rest assured the quality is undeniable.

Only a 5-minute walk from Old St station, Cantaloupe is situated on 35-42 Charlotte Road and is open daily from 10am. Oh and by the way if you are an owner of a “tastecard” you can also get 2 for 1 meals here.

Fancy something slightly different this week? Why don’t you and a few mates check out Godspell? The 40th Anniversary production of Stephen Schwartz’s classic,

“Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, and featuring a sparkling score, Godspell boasts a string of well loved songs, including the international hit- Day By Day. As the cast performs the parables of Jesus Christ comes humanly and hearteningly to life.”

The reviews for this production have been exceptional, ticket prices are only £10 and it is running until April 1^st so there is no reason not to go and see it.

Hello all has it been a week since my last picks of the week? My how times flies. There is so much to do again this week and do not forget it is also St Patrick’s day so get your Guinness on.

The best place to get your Guinness on this week is the Marksman pub on Hackney Rd. A minute’s walk from Columbia rd and a stones throw from Shoreditch the marksman is in a prime location. With a homely, welcoming atmosphere the marksman is a great place to unwind after a hard day at work. They also serve a variety of foods and their bread and butter pudding is to die for. The Marksman is open 11am-12am Mon-Sat and 11am – 11pm on Sundays.

Are you a tea drinker? Partial, to a fairy cake or three? Or just like to dress up? Then why don’t you head over to the Alice in Wonderland inspired “Mad Hatters tea party”. Hosted by the Beas of Bloomsbury located on Theobalds Rd WC1.
