The ‘Suite For Ma Dukes’ project started back in 2007 on what would’ve been Dilla’s 33rd birthday. It was the brain child of Carlos Niño & Miguel Atwood Ferguson who decided to play tribute to Dilla, converted some of his work into contemporary chamber style music. This week fellow Stonesthrower, Georgia Anne Muldrow, has done her own remix (complete with baby on lap) adding some Mad Muldrow magic to it. Having met and interviewed Georgia I am calling her mad with love and all due respect!
