Next Factor update

So, it’s been a while since we’ve brought you some X-Factor news. Although we briefly got to see Graziella’s audition last Sunday it was all about watching X-Factor last night! We finally got got to see our lady smashing it, putting heart and soul into her performance and the look on the judges faces was a picture.

The NEXT Factor begins….

X Factor is coming It’s ON kids and you know what that means?!  We finally get to see Graziella aka THE NEXT FACTOR and her Buffketeers skanking their way around the X-Factor set and showing them judges a thing or two.  It starts this Saturday 22nd August at 7pm on ITV1 so, make sure you show support and stay in EVERY Saturday watching it or else – just think of all the money you’ll save. 3 buffketeers X FACTOR ITV promises a: ‘brave new adventure to Saturday night euphoria… weekends will never be the same again.’ Nuff said.

The final NEXT Factor Daily Dose….

Last night of booty camp

So, apologies for this not being posted yesterday. As our girl has gotten further into the competition it’s got increasingly hard to have contact. Yesterday, as predicted was very dramatic and drawn out, hence I’m a day late posting this! The massive news is: The 3 Buffketers, or ‘Frank’ as they now seem to now be called, have made it through Booty Camp! Due to legal reasons, I’m incredibly sad to say this will be my last NEXT Factor Daily post as they’ve made her sign some sorta confidentiality agreement as expected, and smuggling news out just aint worth the drama of getting caught. I’m kinda surprised we got this far (famous last words). Any way, I have no idea where she is or what the next round entails but I’m sure she’ll find a way of getting news out somehow. As ever, will keep you posted.

‘Hey well basically two days ago we got put into Frank. After all that emotional bull shit! We chose to sing Rose Royce, Wishing on a star. Last nights performance (in my eyes) didn’t go very well: we were out and the girls forgot their lyrics! But I did fuck the crowd up with my rap! My vocal was well recieved too! the audience gave us a standing ovation but we found it hard to bask in because we were disapointed with the way we performed! We had it down in rehearsals but must’ve just lost the confidence on stage! Dunno to be fair! Its in the judges hands! Right now we’re conjuring up conspiracy theories about there being a final sly secret performance! Who knows. All I know is that I’m tired and I want to see my family and friends! This fucking locked up prison shit is a mind fuck! My body is always tense and my voice forever battered!’

The NEXT Factor Day 6

3 buffketeers

Morning folks! I haven’t heard much from our lady since learning that the 3 Buffketeers were still in the running to nail this thing. They had been considering the name ‘Frank’ but they’ve since gone back to the drawing board after discovering it was already taken. I’m presuming from Graziella’s Tweets that today is going to be another roller coaster, it’s at the point where they’re really trying to whittle  them down. It also sounds like exactly what we hoped wasn’t going to happen is happening,  they’re trying to tone them down and make them sound genertic. Don’t even get me started on this…..I feel a soapbox moment coming on.

The NEXT Factor Day 5

X FACTOR STAGE

Wow. So, after it being all quiet on the Grazy front I finally heard from our girl last night. She didn’t sound great, it was clear she was very tired and the taskmasters were playing the old divide and concur game. She sensed from the room she and the 3 buffketeers had been ushered into that, in fact, they were on their way out. There’s no pics to go on, as for some reason she didn’t have her iphone but below is what unfolded on text.

09:44pm:

‘Feeling really tired still waiting for the judges to chose the final 50 acts. we haven’t eaten. we can’t smoke. we tried smiling and got told by itv staff that we look stupid. we need to look sad which isn’t so hard right now. Today we we’re just watching the last of the auditions. every1 did really well. miss my friend Joel (assuming he was in Boy II Men crew)…damn what a process…it’s actually quite mind fucking.’

11:59 pm:

‘we are in a waiting room back at the hotel. we’ve bin split into 4 groups of 25…and we’re left to stew in our own thought. I feel like ppl that I’m in a room with make me less confident that we’re going through. but everyone’s said they feel confident coz we’re in the room with them. Ugh…I’m comin home tonight and can feel it. sorry ppl i did try…Mils pls Twitter this. I don’t have my Iphone’

12:29 AM:

‘We didn’t get thru….we’re coming home….sorry’

But then…outta nowhere…….she finds her way to Twitter, and:

That’s right people! Our crazy Grazy, the talent, the voice, the grandma skanker and one of the most deserving people, if not THE most deserving person, I know is in the last 50 for X-Factor this year ya heard?! After feeling incredibly gutted for her last night, this morning  I have awoken to a completely different story and I’m absolutely brimming with pride. No matter where you stand on talent competitions like this, from the insight I’ve had doing this daily piece, it truly sounds like hell on every level. Graziella is one of the strongest ladies I know, the kinda girl that rolls up her sleeves, steps up to the plate and just gets shit done and this has really pushed her to the limit in every sense of the word. Unconfirmed reports in this morning that the group formerly know as the ’3 Buffketeers’ are now, only to be referred to as: ‘Frank‘.

All I want to say is: Girl, no matter what happens, we got you and we’re all so proud of you, you’ll always be the NEXT Factor  to us. Word!

The NEXT Factor Day 4

It’s been mighty quiet on the Grazy front last 12hrs. I think it’s most likely a case of calm before the next storm. I know they were all hype after making it through the last 3 days and all that jazz (hands). So, I think the 3 buffketeers have been resting up them fineselves after all that ‘Grandma skankin’ (Watch this will be the next UK Funky mixdown). 

The only picture to go on is the the one above, it looks like the ladies have found themselves the next JLS or whatever to roll with. Either way it’s all very Destiny’s Child Vs Boyz II Men but kinda gangsta and there is some cider being thrown about (cue sponsorship from well known cider brand). Maybe they’ve been busy skanking to UK Funky in someone’s room and throwing TVs outta windows. Hmmm, on one bokle that is doubtful. Either way, we see it as no news is good news!

The NEXT Factor Day 3

3 buffketeers

So, I was awoken this morning to great NEXT Factor news. Our girl’s through to next round of booty camp and what’s more, she seems to be making a real impression on the judges and everyone around her (seeing is believing with this lady). Other highlights include Cheryl Cole telling her she ‘smashed it’, Simon Cowell thinking she’s the leader of the group, getting a standing ovation from judges and audience alike AND the 3 Buffketeers inventing and teaching any willling person the latest dance inadaplace: the ‘Grandma Skank’ (Hold tight the Youtube phenomena that will ensue). The above pic shows the aforementioned 3 Buffketeers after passing the first round of booty camp!

‘Just heading to sleep. So I got through! We received a standing ovation from the judges and the audience! In the words of Cheryl Cole we KILLED it!! The very best performance in 8 years! Louis thought we would make a good band! The girls did well but forgot some lyrics, styled it nicely! Everyone remembers me (as if they wouldn’t)! I led the band! Simon seemed to have thought so! Said I was in control and I stuck out the most! We mad up a new dance move called the grandma skank n we’ve bin dancing all over itv. Worth the wait! My voice is now non existent’

So, another day and another round of booty camp. Lord knows what today has in store but from the sounds of it (I can hear her purring from here) she’s still tucked up in her bed, resting that voice and getting some sleep.

The NEXT Factor!

The beautiful Graziella

Our kid, the stupendous talent and tour de Force, Graziella has got past all the initial preliminaries on X-Factor and was shipped off to boot camp yesterday. I thought it’d be nice to keep y’all in the loop with her adventures as a way of showing support, being part of the journey (it’s all love fam) and as we here feel she IS the NEXT factor. Plus we’ve heard about nothing else for the past month! For those of you unfamiliar with the name, the voice, the ‘mild wild child’ I point you in this direction: http://www.myspace.com/graziellaaffinita I assure you, you won’t be disapointed. She’s worked with some of the biggest in UK hip hop talents: Asaviour, DJ IQ, Skrein,  Foreign Beggars and  more.

Now, I’m not strictly sure about the rules and regulations of her smuggling these juicy news morsals out of Camp Del Factor but, until I get in trouble or shut down, I will stand firm in my duty to be the ‘Daily Grazy’ newswire! So, make sure you check back for the daily update ya heard!

Location of bootcamp unknown. All we know is she’s residing in a hotel somewhere, she has found a crew of uber RnB homies/hotties (Mr Beat Butcha appears to be a fan), there’s a swimming pool and she has told us the food is good.

So, hold tight and here we go.

Sunday 26th July:

Text: ‘Hey just settled in!! Got to the hotel as the restaurant closed! So had to go get a shish kebab (our lady is so real)! Feel really tired. Ppl were singing by a grand piano (still no hint of location there), really getting involved….nerves kicked in. Everyone’s amazing! I’m sharing a room with a nice girl but I found a clique that are in Japan (is that a hint??!!) the other side of the hotel. They gave us £10 for dinner n i get to sleep in tomorrow. I’m just drinking some chai tea readying for sleep. Will keep you posted as much as possible.’
