in a ‘field’ at a ‘festival’. In this context, the ‘field’ is Victoria Park (Hi-five London one dayer music events) and the ‘festival’ is an all day extravaganza. If you’ve read my previous post on me and festivals, which of course you should’ve done, then you’ll know where I stand on them – pretty much as far away from them as possible as if they were a smelly, sweaty oversized man heavy breathing on the tube. One day, London events I can do however. So today, I’m going to Field Day with a bunch of hens for, of course, a hen do! I’ve only just looked at the website and it looks pretty ‘hip’ like a village fate on acid that’s sniffed a line of Hoxton chang.
Any ways, before I get all judgmental and negative having not even set foot out the door, I have to say the line-up looks kinda kooky and cool. I’ll be honest to say I’ve only heard of a few of the acts but hey ho! I’ll just hafta drink some organic, over priced cider and bogle in my wellies (I don’t own any wellies but threw that in for effect/a visual prop)…..
Think I’ll be mostly at the ‘Eat Your Own Ears’ stage. Dunno about the rest of the hens but me? I’m gonna check for: ‘Gaggle’ who are described ‘as bunch of nu rave pre raphaelites’ and are alined with mainlining LSD, Santigold and Skream. I’ll be sure to let you know how this turns out, there will, no doubt be regular Tweets.
