So, as uncool/odd/stalkerish etc this may make your view of me, I don’t care. If you’ve read my previous post (see here) you’ll know I’m really into Jean Grae’s music. Well, just so happens that I ‘follow’ Ms Grae on Twitter and have never plucked up the balls to say ‘whadup’ or bombard her with sarcy/witty tweets in the hope she sees my funny side and actually warms to me in real life. I’m well aware it’s just cringey when you tell an artist you’re a ‘big fan of their music’ or ‘that you respect them’ blah blah. There’s a fine line between silent admiration and full-on freeky fan steez that results in you being side stepped with a sympathetic, slightly bemused smile as tonk, oversize security men step in calling you by your first name.. .Usually I’m the silent type but well, when Jean Grae put a Tweet up last week about being cool enough one day that John Mayer would reply to her Tweets (hint of sarcasm?!), well I couldn’t help myself….

Yup, not very cool at all but it made my day so don’t judge me. She’s probably going to block me shortly if I persist trying to ‘beg friend’ her on Twitter.
